Pumpkins are making a deserved comeback to Slovenian households. We have grown to like them with tasty dishes and products, among which the most famous is surely pumpkin oil. Dried pumpkin seeds contain an abundance of vitamins and minerals, particularly iron, saturated fatty acids (also omega 3) and proteins.

Recommended

Eat them as a standalone snack. You can sprinkle them in pumpkin and other soups, add them to salads, dough for baking bread and bakery products or use them in cold sauces.
