Millet is an ancient cereal. The husked millet is called millet groats.


Use it with prunes for breakfast. However, use cooked millet similarly to rice as a side dish or add it to soups and one-pot dishes. You can also prepare the groats as the main dish – that is as millet pie and vegetable millet soufflé.
